The Best Story I Ever Read

           Books are amazing creations. My favorite book is Amelia Bedelia. Amelia Bedlia is a book series, and the first one is called Amelia Bedelia Means Business. I am still reading the first one, so I will just tell you about that one. Amelia Bedelia Means Business is about a little girl named Amelia Bedelia, who really wants a new bike. The bike she wants is red and sparkly and better than a girl at her school named Susan. One night, she told her parents about the bike she wanted, and they said they would pay for half if she earned the other half. So Amelia Bedilia got a job at a restaurant. She only lasted a few hours, because she got fired. The next thing she tried to do was a lemonade stand. That lasted a couple hours as well. When she got back to her house, she told her mother all about the lemonade stand, and her mom told her about an old recipe they used to make. The recipe was for lemon tarts. So Amelia Bedelia and her mother started to make batches of lemon tarts to sell. She went back to the restaurant where she first worked, and talked the manager into letting her sell a batch of her lemon tarts to the restaurant every day for $12 a batch.
