Week 24 History Essay

This week I learned about Chrstiaan Hugans, calculus, Anton Van Leeuwenhoek, and Isaac Newton. First is Christiaan Hugens. He was one of the most important scientists in the 17th century. He built the first pendulum clock. He learned mathematics and law at university of lighten. Second, is calculus. It was invented by Isaac Newton and it is used in calculators, computers and also helps in physics. It explains music and motion. Next, I learned about Anton Van Leeuwenhoek. He was a successful businessman. He is most known for his microscopic discoveries. His discoveries entailed microbiology. Last, I learned about Isaac Newton. He was born on Christmas day, and he was an engineer, researcher, and one of the most famous scientists. He was most famous for his development of universal law gravitation and his laws of motion. My favorite invention this week was calculus. I thought it was very interesting that calculus can explain music and motion, and I really enjoy math. Those are the four inventions that I learned about this week.
