Lesson 56: Observing Penguins
Today, I learned about penguins. They’re classified in the Sphenisciformes bird order. There are 18-20 penguin species, here are a couple: There’s the king penguin, the emperor penguin, the fairy penguin etc. Instead of wings, they have flippers designed to go in the water. The emperor penguin is the largest type of penguin, they can weigh 100 pounds and can reach 4 feet tall. The fairy penguin is the smallest type of penguin. Adults can reach 13 inches high. That is all I learned about penguins today.
