Lesson 58: Observing Parrots
Today I learned about parrots. They are classified in the Psittaciformes order of birds. There are 372 different types of species, and they live in tropical areas of the world. They are probably most known for mimicking people. Parrots are very colorful, and most have beautiful patterns on their body. Many parrots are pretty big, and some can be smaller. They have a curved beak for eating plants and fruits and nuts. They are also very intelligent. Some types can even learn to talk to people. I really love parrots and I hope I can have one someday.
